What is clinical hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a powerful tool that can be used in clinical counselling. It is a highly individualized process and a mind-body healing art. It is used to create change in habits, beliefs, and internal dialogue.
A state of deep relaxation is used to heal, eliminate triggers, as well as limiting beliefs and thoughts. Hypnosis can be used to create new patterns and to maximize your potential. At all times during the process you are in control of what is happening. You are relaxed and being asked to focus on your internal experience. Depending on the work that we are doing: visualization, connecting with different aspects of self or regression, your experience will vary. There will be a feeling of relaxation and safety. You will also learn to utilize self-hypnosis to continue doing the work between sessions.
